Welcome to White House Campsite - a small caravan and camping site in the Heart of Wales. The site is right next to the River Wye and only a short walk to the centre of Builth Wells and the Royal Welsh Showground at Llanelwedd.


It’s a great place to stay for a while, with electric hook ups, hard standing pitches and hot water for washing up. The whole site is flat and level with a clean shower and toilet block designed to be accessible for people with disabilities.

You do not usually need to book in advance, but sometimes it’s a good idea to check if we have room, especially on bank holiday weekends or if you would like to  park on a hard standing pitch. You can contact us by email or telephone (during office hours only please).

Builth Wells is host to the Royal Welsh Show each July, and the Showground is only a ten minute walk away. A number of events take place at the Showground throughout the year - visit the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society website for a list of all events taking place there during the year.


There is plenty to keep you busy in Builth Wells including an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, sports centre, swimming pool and good bars and restaurants. There are lots of opportunities nearby for outdoor activities including walking, fishing, and cycling. The site is on the route of the Wye Valley Walk and Lôn Las Cymru, the Welsh National Cycle Route which runs from north to south Wales.
